Mrs J is preparing for a visit by The Belle Mère and husband.
It’s an expected unexpected visit. That means Mr and Mrs J have indeed been informed in advance of their arrival. Then two things happened.
- Mrs J forgot to put the date in her agenda (expected)
- Mr J didn’t check his agenda for a week (unexpected)
In any case, the J’s are already back on track and Mrs J has spent this evening cleaning another branch of lamb-tree.
Should have been used for stock but wasn't. Next time (maybe).
The Masters of the Household weren’t sure what to make of this thing. It smelled good, but it wasn’t in small pieces and didn’t fit in their plastic bowls. Ergo, must not be food.
Mrs J hopes and expects the finished dish will go down better with humans.
