Here’s another fun fact about Mrs J: she’s a hypochondriac.

Late this morning, Mrs J watched a programme on TV with Michael J. Fox talking about Parkinsons.

Big mistake, Mrs J!

She found the programme very interesting, informative and good. Also poignant, sad and scary.

It took about an hour after the end of the show before she started feeling ill. Another couple of hours of mental agony before she realized what was really going on.

It's bigger than it looks y'all

While having breakfast and then later while watching the show she had absently kept refilling her big mug of tea.

As you surely know, tea actually contains caffeine. Not as much of it as coffee, but enough to trigger a response if you’re a bit intolerant and absently ingest a bathtub or so of it.

Mrs J felt fairly stupid and yet relieved at this alternative diagnosis.

She then prescribed herself some wholesome housework. It was about as exciting as she could handle.

Another few hours and the caffeine was gone. (Thank you, Lord.)

And so was the laundry.
