Back a few posts ago, Mrs J planned great things cake-wise for unsuspecting victims. Since then she has changed her mind about 18 times about what cake to do.

But now it is settled and decided.

Thanks to the persuasive powers of Robin, you are about to witness the birth (and possibly the pitiful demise) of Mrs J’s first ‘Mont Blanc’ cake!

*Audience roars, whistles and whooohoos*

As we are talking about Mrs J’s Robin here, this is Martinique style Mont Blanc, ergo no chestnuts.

Mrs J already ran into trouble with Robin suggesting to use lemons instead of limes (because the store didn’t have untreated limes this week).

The rest of the ingredients are waiting.

Mrs J is fairly certain this will become the adventure of the week, seeing as this cake not only needs to be baked and constructed but also transported to a foreign country by car, preferably in one piece and looking halfway decent, before being presented to the final consumers.
