So, it’s that time of year again. Le time of Le Tour de France.
Mrs J loves the Tour de France. She got hooked back in 19frozetodeath when she was asked to take a small group of guests to Courchevel for a stage visit. The visit was a bit of a logistics disaster, but nobody complained because it was just so awesome to be part of the atmosphere and to come up close with these amazing athletes in the stunning setting of the Alps.
The event rocks. Let’s hope the dopers don’t manage to destroy it.
This year, as every year since then, Mrs J will be watching the action on TV. And this year it will also mark the countdown of Mrs J’s last weeks of corporate life. As the peloton goes up the Alpe d’Huez in three weeks time, Mrs J will be walking out the door of her office of the last 11 years.
So let’s go! Allez!

I only made it up Le Lautaret myself (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Col_du_Lautaret) in 19frozetodeath…
But hubby is going to the etape for (about 20.000) amateurs this weekend and next. Going up Galibier and Alpe d’Huez. Me in awe too.
Plus, I like men in cyclist gear 🙂
