08:15 Mrs J leaves the house to get the train to work (day 11)

08:17 Mrs J gets picked up, IN HER VILLAGE, BY CHANCE, BY A COLLEAGUE, ON THE STREET! This never happened before, ever, during the 11 years she’s been going to work this way.

It happened here. Coincidence? Probably. Miracle? Let's say yes!

08:18 Mrs J contemplates her luck/the irony of finding a colleague that passes through her village every morning at about the same time, in the last two weeks of her employment.

08:39 Mrs J arrives at work way earlier than expected.

09:58 Mrs J waves to Robin arriving, through the window.

Who comes, who goes - and when? Only Mrs J knows....

Today is the last day Mrs J will share an office with Robin, because Robin is going on holiday for two weeks.

10:15 Mrs J starts some work.

10:25 Mrs J drops work and checks out CNN.com.

11:54 Mrs J prods Robin to go for lunch (reserved for 12:45). Tries to find address and fails.

12:06 Robin leaves to get cash and the car.

12:15 Mrs J finds address, picks up print and runs to catch Robin in car.

12:17 Mrs J catches Robin at car.

12:27 Robin finishes reciting numbers on car insurance papers to boyfriend via phone. Robin in bad mood. Boyfriend in trouble.

12:30 Robin finds Navi CDs under drivers seat. Boyfriend has no idea. The depth of trouble he’s in, it’s deep y’all.

12.31 Mrs J and Robin depart to get gas.

12:45 Robin tries to convince Mrs J to call restaurant.

12:47 Robin calls restaurant.

13:05 – 14:15 Robin and Mrs J have really nice lunch at restaurant.

14:25 Robin runs over roadwork cone. Roadworkers have no idea. Roadworkers would have been in trouble with Robin, but no damage done. Roadworkers safe. Boyfriend safe. (It’s a new car).

14:30 Mrs J goes back to work.

14:45 Mrs J drops work and checks out the standings of the TdF.

16:55 Mrs J says goodbye to Robin.

17:01 Mrs J cries a little tear on her way out (she didn’t want Robin to see it).

17:02 Mrs J gets a ride BY CHANCE DIRECTLY FROM WORK TO HER VILLAGE! This is highly unusual, but it has happened before. She now knows she’ll get home quickly. IF she gets there.

17:07 Mrs J’s life flashes before her eyes as the car driven by her colleague flashes through the road tunnel.

17:12 Mrs J arrives in her village. Pulse 180.

And what happened from here on today will be the subject of another post, maybe later this weekend.

At this point, Mrs J would just like to say again to Robin: It’s been a treat! And don’t forget  ….

Tune in tomorrow .... same bat-time ... same bat-channel!
