Today Mrs J was supposed to leave for Spain. But she didn’t. It may have something to do with all the fun she’s been having this last week.
Oh well.
Instead, Mrs J gets to think of fun stuff to do while not in Spain. And of course she’s only too happy to share it with you. You’re welcome.
1. Book some flamenco lessons. Or, if you’re an introvert, get a Flamenco DVD. Then you can flamen’c in the privacy of your own home.
2. Brush up on your Spanish. Just be sure you brush up on the right one. In addition to Castillian (which is the Spanish Mrs J took in school back in 19frozetodeath) there are at least three others. Trying to get the lingo right in Spain can feel like fighting windmills.
And yes, that was a literary reference. Thank you. If you’re not getting it right now, here’s a nifty gadget that might help.
3. Have your dinner at 10pm. You can have a little bite of just about anything in your fridge and call it tapas. Convenient and muy Spanish.
4. Try out your husbands guitar. You may not be as good as the classic Spanish masters, but you won’t know until you try.
5. Sit in the comfy chair. Because nobody expects the Spanish inquisition.
