There was a party in the house yesterday. A lobster party!

Also invited, oysters, other types of shellfish and shrimp.

The tableau of food was purchased from the local fishmonger, ready to eat. Mrs J is not going to fight live lobsters at home. The end.

Sometimes cooking is as easy as this. Buy fresh seafood. Buy some lemons. Mix some good mayonnaise with freshly pressed garlic (as much as you can bear) and some saffron (as much as you like). Buy fresh white bread, making sure to carry it home in your armpit like a true French person.

Enjoy a glass or two of your favorite Muscat Sec with it all.
