Sometimes we say things like: “There will be no Christmas without …”. But seriously, there’s going to be Christmas every year, whether or not particular things are there or not.

Unless you’re into the Mayan thing. In which case this is all moot anyway.

But let’s forget the Mayans and assume there will be Christmas again this year, for now.

Mrs J likes to do things for Christmas. She’s lucky to have the time and resources to indulge herself. She is completely unworthy of the pity some people feel for her because she has a lot of work to do to prepare.

It’s really not too much trouble if you love to do it. It’s not too much trouble if you do it because you want to, rather than because you feel you have to. Most of all, it’s worth it when you see that people appreciate the results. In that case, the more the merrier!

Mrs J would like the people spending the holidays in her house to enjoy their time, because she enjoyed preparing. It’s the best gift they can give her for Christmas.
