Sometimes the colour alone makes you go *yes*!

It could have been a Dutch recipe, but it's not

Ajvar is such a good product. Mrs J discovered it in Slovenia while on holiday in 19frozetodeath. Here it is combined with some creme fraiche and extra chili and cayenne pepper for some bite.

Poured over chicken breast turned in olive oil, salt and pepper. Oven 225°C +-20 min

It looks brilliant on the plate, contrasted with some ruccola. Amazingly enough it tastes just as good as it looks.

More orange than the home crowd in Holland during the world cup. Which is saying something.

AND it’s nice and quick for after work. On Day 49 of  Mrs J’s countdown, this felt important.

Leave the cayenne out for the kids and you’re on to a family winner.
