There was sincere doubt in Mrs J’s mind if there would actually be any winter to speak of this season. Just because she promised to love the cold, rain and sleet this time around, she feels she’s hardly seen any of it.

But now, finally, she got some snow. Opportunity strikes! Thank you Siberia!

She’s determined to show it some love while it lasts.

Cold and lovely walk along the river. The sun is still really low, even in the middle of the day. Mrs J forgot to bring a hanky and (of course) her shades.

White on magenta, very striking indeed.

Apparently, the cold is destined to hang on for a week or so, which means if she persists in going outside to feel the love Mrs J will probably have a magenta coloured nose by Sunday.
