One or two of you may remember the time Mrs J made peanut squares in honour of her getting amazingly lost while carrying a GPS enabled phone.
Mrs J didn’t get lost today. Lucky for her, since it’s still pretty Siberian out there. However, she didn’t have to go outside to live up to her peanut title. She’s perfectly capable of doing that sitting comfortably in her office.
So, without further ado, here’s another variation of the peanut squares, in honour of all the peanuts out there.
You’ll need a bit of peanut square cake without the frosting left over in the freezer. Thaw it slowly.
Get a jar of ready bought chocolate and/or hazelnut cream. Spread it luxuriously over the bit of peanut square cake.
If you can manage, Mrs J would recommend to chill the frosted cake for an hour in the fridge before cutting. It helps to get nice squares when you cut the cake.
Though today, she didn’t. And weren’t they sticky yummy!
